Recon Security has offices located in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch New Zealand. We are the capital's largest privately owned commercial and residential security company. We’ve been operating with integrity, competency, and impeccable ethics since 1995 and have consequently developed into Wellington’s security company of choice.

Skilled and well trained

Based at the bottom of Ngauranga Gorge, Recon employs up to 100 staff. We are strongly committed to training our security personnel to a high level of competency on an ongoing basis.

All our security guards are fully conversant with the Trespass Act 1980, radio and telephone procedures, health and safety regulations, drugs and alcohol issues, the use of physical force, theft, robberies, powers of arrest, evacuation and searches procedures.
